I just want to say with no spoilers, this book has my favorite boss fight from the game, though I was disappointed that a certain aspect of that boss fight was not in this book. I do understand it would have been a little out of place had it been in here, but still was kind of hoping to see at least a nod to it.

Anyway this volume I feel was all about character growth. There was a lot revealed about the past relationship for two of the characters, which isn’t from the game, but I really liked how it fit so well within the canonical game story. Alongside that, I have liked the arc that Midna and Link have had so far in this series. This has helped the series, especially this volume, feel more than just a retelling of the game story. It has given this series its own identity apart from the game. I expected that I would enjoy the series, but I have loved it so much more than I thought I would have.

I remember how epic it felt in-game to pull the Master Sword.

So epic it takes 10 pages to properly convey XD
