I liked this one better than the first part. I still have some issues with the HQ being in New York on September 10th and September 11th 2001 (especially since we discover from which situation Sal was rescued in this book - I think it's very cruel that she has to be the one that is outside and see everything happening again and again and again) and there are some things that are, for me not logical (so, the species survived the death of dinosaurs - why is that the reason that the Homo Sapiens never existed? *scratches head* Especially since it's made clear that this species will never develop further than it already had? Hmmm.), but overall I liked this story and I really like the characters.

Liam, Mady and Sal are interesting and I want to read more about them. Also, I like that it's shown that Becks/Bob "grow" and aren't just Robots/AIs. Also, I like that the traumas of the situation Liam, Mady and Sal have been rescued of are not just gone. They have nightmares and fears/phobias.

And, I knew the bit about Foster. I had a feeling from early on in Book one that he is who is but it's nice to see it confirmed. :)

The plot itself was interesting, engaging and enjoyable to read.

Wonderful addition to the TimeRiders series. Truly had me at the edge of my seat. This 2nd installment in Alex Scarrow's sci-fi masterpiece compelled to read on in the series.
