This book started so sloooow. This book is the reason for the tandem read. But then halfway through it got so much better and it was sooo hard to switch books for the tandem read that at more than one point I considered to just keep going. Yrene is the shinning star in this book, I loved her so much

I have almost no words. Everyone told me this was the “worst” book in the series, but wow. This was my favorite! Epic adventures, great loves, and the only one that has made me cry so far. I already want to read it again.

I highly recommend the tandem read. It winds together these stories so beautifully, and you’ll be so glad you did when you fall completely in love with Chaol!!!
