I wanted to like this because I really enjoyed Saving Theo…I loved how this started but as it went on, Alice and Luka’s relationship fell really flat for me. I actually found the side story to be much more interesting. The overall arch felt a little too similar to Theo and Jade’s, and now I fear the rest of the books may follow the same formula.
