Some poems spoke to me some others didn't. However, It didn't move me and didn't make me think about it after I finished it. Her poetry is beautiful, it's just not as personal to me as her songs.

shakespeare wishes he had lana’s skill.

Quizá me hubiera gustado más como audiolibro. Igual tqm Lanabebé.

nice, relaxing read, but only a few poems really left an impression on me. the rest were just okay, save for two i really didn’t like. “LA Who am I to Love You”, “My bedroom is a sacred place now - there are children at the food of my bed”, “happy”, and the above haiku were the standouts for me.

yes, I'm a Lana fan but even if I wasn't, this would still be something to read, the stories and rhymes are just so lovely, sometimes painful, and relatable...

I got this book cus it was 0.99 on Kobo and I like Lana Del Rey. There were some pretty words but nothing astounding. I'd like to see Lana write a more narrative book, something surreal

this was one of those books I really thought I was going to dislike but I really loved the impact and stories Lana showed throughout the poems.

I love lana, her songs and her voice
I was really happy when I Heard about this books because I thought her poetry would be more raw and more unfiltered compared to her songs and now that I've read I think I was mostly right.
She is one the most powerful lyricist of our generation and her poetry and music makes life more bearable for me.
My favorite poem of this book would be Never to Heaven I guess or Paradise is Very Fragile maybe.
Most of themes of her poems are about her feelings, struggles with fame and media, her struggles with navigating her life, her relationship with lovers, God and nature, her identity. There was a philosophical undertone to them all.
I definitely enjoyed reading the poems, the haikus. Also enjoyed the features pictures and art works. But I think I would have enjoyed it more if I understood all the references, but I'm not from LA or America for that matter.
At last, I'm definitely gonna try to write on the notes for a poet part.
