this was such a wholesome read. this was my first introduction to Sy Montgomery, and I am so excited to read her other books. she has lived such a fascinating life, I am honestly a little jealous! 

this book was incredibly heartwarming and brought me to tears multiple times. this is definitely a must-read for anyone who has ever loved or been loved by an animal or creature. this book really changed my perspective because creatures teach us things about the world and ourselves. nature is truly one of the best teachers, and this memoir proves that point so intimately.  

to love a creature so fiercely has long-lasting and profound impacts on an individual. this book made me want to reflect on all of the creatures who have shaped and changed me for the better.
