This and Heavy Weather are really two parts of the same novel and since I've read them in the wrong order, I'm off to relisten to Heavy Weather

Wodehouse with thwarted lovers, missing pigs, scandal-manuscripts-to-be-stolen, set in the lovely Blandings Castle as the background and all this in hysterically funny and captivating Wodehouse-prose.

and the list of suspects is ever ongoing.

Trust P.G. Wodehouse to bring you sun and laughter into your life when you need it the most.

Wodehouse is just fantastic - made even better by Stephen Fry’s narration!

Reviews and more on my blog: Entering the Enchanted Castle

Reread for the 1929 club, but didn't finish in time to write a post, and I don't have much to say about it. I find Blandings amusing but I still enjoy the narrative voice of Bertie Wooster more.
