“I wasn’t sure I’d ever fallen in love at first sight. Falling in love with Zeus had been a gradual thing, like a seed planted in my soul at six years old that grew into an immovable, majestic oak as time marched on and the connection between us never waned. But looking at that boy with his thick lashed eyes and troubled mouth, I knew I’d love him until the day I died if he let me.”

I’m not crying. You’re crying.
We get a Christmas novella from Zeus and Lou and the gang. And an introduction to Ares.
Oh my heart. I’m a softie and emotional mess when it comes to children.
Ares is my new weakness in this series I think. I hope we get more information on his background. And I really hope that we get to see him more as I continue to read the series from Gianna Darling.

This was a perfect and quick novella to read.

A Powerful, Awww Inducing Punch in a Tiny Package...

Well this book was unexpected, because here I thought the "surprise" was going to be a puppy lol...

After the hard core emotional rollercoasters contained in the first two books of Giana Darling's, The Fallen Men, series this one was a lovely little interlude that completely caught me off guard! Officially book 2.5 of the series, "Fallen Son" takes place during the Christmas between the epilogue of Zeus and Lou's story and that of Harleigh Rose and Danner's tale. It is a sweet and sassy little novella, containing all of the sharp witted, banter filled dialog, and introspective prose I have come to know and love from Darling. However, this one exerts an unexpectedly powerful punch and paves the way for what I hope are countless books to come!

I am not going to write the typical run down I usually provide in my Sadt Cookie book reviews as this book is a brief three chapter literary side trip, and so jam packed I would give too many things away. But just know this, "Fallen Son" is a heart jerker. Also, this little gem contains a plot pivot so surprising you will scramble to read the next available books in the series and then beg for more.

The Fallen MC... What an absolutely wonderful way to begin 2021!

The Fallen Family Christmas

This short story is so adorable. I love the Fallen gang and seeing that spend the holiday together was wonderful. Also, I love seeing the family growing and going on a group adventure.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Now the introduction to this new character is really interesting. Where did he come from? Who are his parents? What was he made to do?

I need answers now lol

I have some idea about who they are but it can't be that obvious right??

So for some reason my kindle highlights weren't linking with a different edition of this novella and there aren't any 'switch to another edition' options on either page. With that being that case I'm copying and pasting my review from that one and putting it on here, it's not a long review...actually this explanation is going to be longer than the review.

I normally don't rate a story this short 5 stars but it's Zeus and Lou being Zeus and Lou, yea, going to get 5 stars.

And I'm really excited to see if Nova is next. Only got a small glimpse of him but I liked what was there.

”I knew Loulou Garro the way one soul knew another. It was intangible and intractable, one of those ways’a the universe no one ever knows how to give words to.”

Cute and short novella for Zeus and Lou. Loved seeing King, Cressida, H.R and everyone else again!
I’m very excited about Ares though, and I’m hoping we get go see more of him!!

This was soooo sweet and it made me cry (I blame it on me reading this immediately after we lost you know who in book two), it was a great introduction to Ares and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the series.
