Another fun, silly, fourth-wall breaking entry in this series. I still say I would have loved these as a kid and grown-up me is having fun reading them as a palate-cleanser between heavier books. (Reading this as part of my publication-order read of all of Sanderson's works). This book brings back the usual cast again, with the addition of yet another Smedry relative and another group of evil librarians to keep things fresh. The plot is mostly action, interspersed with nonsense, but it's fun. Looks like there's one more book to go, but I won't get to it for a while, since he wrote a lot of books in between! We'll get there eventually...

I hate this series for one reason only, the constant interjection from the Narrator. The story is great, the narration- terrible!

Me encanta el humor de estos libros

I have been loving this series but I was ready to throw the book at the end. But that is only because this book was billed as the last in the series and it does sound like he won't be writing another one for a bit, but he left a lot unfinished. So I am mad because I won't know what will happen for a long time. GRRRR. But really this is a great series and I have enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully it won't take Sanderson too long to write the next one.

Still clever. Still funny. It’s getting more serious. I think this entire series is brilliant at talking about difficult situations in ways tweens can understand and relate to. I like how you get to see the emotional development Alcatraz goes through.

Need to know what happens next!!!!
