This was my least favorite book of the series so far. Took me a while to finish it just because it couldn’t keep my attention. Looking forward the getting started in the next book in the series.

Novellas are hit and miss for me. This one wasn't so bad. They fell in love in three weeks and not in three days. I can buy it. Cute story.

Annie is a farm girl who is in the right place at the right time when Jack finds a box of puppies under the locally famous Virgin River Christmas tree. She volunteers to take on the primary care of the puppies. When Nate, the local vet, comes to check out the puppies he also gets reacquainted with Annie and the rest is history...

I know it is a Novella so it is shorter but it felt rushed to me. Regardless Annie and Nate are both likeable and it is a cute and sweet story. 3*
