A strange story of a woman’s purposeful told from the perspective of three observers: a man who falls in love with her, the mother who wonders if she did it right or not, and a woman who sees beyond the skin (or, believes she does). Though we never hear from the main character’s own perspective, we can begin to piece together one truth of her through the differing narratives.

While very intriguing, I was also left feeling like it was missing something. Perhaps that is intentional, but it’s an intention I don’t fully enjoy.

Strange but enjoyable experience. Lots to think about. It stays with you. Interesting perspective told through 3 characters (none of which were the main). Highly enjoyed. Recommend

Very much enjoyed it. I get why everyone is obsessed with the woman who transformed herself into another version of herself, a better one, but also a very self centered person. Her transformation is told from the perspectives of three different people who knew her in real life, before she became famous for being still.
