I honestly read the first three books out of boredom. A good mindless read if you're interested!

literally what was this?

Meh I did read it and things did happen but kinda mid

Ending left a ton of unanswered questions

Devoured this book without pausing. Couldn’t put it down. Definitely recommend! I loved how Cadey and Dutch finally picked each other. I feel like the ending was rushed. It almost felt like another cliffhanger. There are a lot of unanswered questions. Hopefully, they get answered in Zane's book.

I had really high hopes for this trilogy especially after the first book but by the 3rd it felt like there was just a bunch of stuff introduced with no resolution. I get that the series continues but it seems like the couple themselves were left on such a cliff hanger if this were a single shorter book or a duet it wouldn’t be as bad but as a trilogy it was weak.
The lack of resolution to the Sol and Cadence plot line, no confirmation of pregnancy, her mom dying again at the end. It all just felt like too many unnecessary plot lines. Plus it feels like they gave Cadey something to work through with stage fright but then didn’t really go anywhere with it or create any true growth.

3✨

I got to around 25% in and lost interest. It dragged and I was tired of the same ole enemies plot. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it in the first 2 books but by the 3rd one I was hoping it’ll be a more lovers book… it was dragged out so much and there were so many unnecessary scenarios that wasn’t needed it kinda ruined it for me. Then bam there’s a HEA and it was literally in the last 5% of the book. I wanted to give this a 4 last night but was like no - it really was not a 4 star read. I’m bias because I devoured the first 2 books in this series. But I was a little disappointed with this one. What a flat ending. She still has stage fright. The miscommunication trope rode hard this entire series. Please guys just talk to each other. They’re in each other pants but don’t trust each other the entire series. Well she doesn’t trust him. Here Dutch is ready to die for her. Lord. He was just perfect. I could see his growth throughout the series. And what happened with Hunter?! Am I missing a chunk of the book where she explains to him nothing happened?! So many loose ends so I’ll have to read the next book to find out right? Aghh. I won’t be finding this out today I need a break.

ok wtf was that ending ?? i did not want to be left on a cliffhanger when it’s clear we are finished with this couple. if that was to keep readers hanging on, it didn’t work for me and others from reviews i’ve seen.

but anyways, um dutch and cadey with their back and forth, their miscommunication, and the over possessiveness dutch had over her?? i was over it

Actually so mad it ended the way it did. We got almost zero closure. None of the questions were answered. These books were always advertised as a trilogy, not a series where the first three books are one couple and the rest are others & the overall plot continues through them all. I actually hate that set up.

The story itself was enough to keep me entertained, but the characters were toxic af to each other and only at the end of book 3 did they finally start admitting to themselves their true feelings. Idk. It was going good until that ending and now I’m just mad.

SYNOPSIS:
The last book containing Cadey and Dutch’s story. They’ve gone back and forth with their hatred of one another, fighting tooth and nail. Cadey had some crazy things occur to her and she kept Dutch in the dark. Dutch had some secrets revealed and kept Cadey in the dark. In order to keep his grandmothers inheritance from going to his father, which none of the brothers like, he has to get married and have a child before a years time. He tries to knock Cadey up secretly and continues to ask her to marry him and she’s been stubborn about it. Eventually she finds this out and runs away. She makes a deal with Dutch’s dad and goes on a European tour with another band. Dutch tracks her down though and wins her back by explaining things and declaring his love for her. The book ends with them getting married and it being alluded that Cadey is experiencing morning sickness. Readers get no other closure of any other problem that cropped up in the story. The series continues with another brothers story, but he wasn’t well-written in these three books so I personally didn’t connect with Zane at all and am not interested to read his story.
