This was a nice continuation from the lost boys series. I enjoyed following along with Croc and James on their adventure to find Wendy. I always believe that James deserves a happily ever after in any retelling. The twist in the end really got me to. Good read
I mean… roc and hook? yumm, with Wendy? Sure.. the story, everything was going nicely and then BAM rushed wtf? I mean.. will I read the next book? Of course… but what, why rush end it like that.. I feel sneak attacked

I loved this dark and spicy retelling of Hook and the Croc. I’ve never read a ‘why choose’ before and now I’m wondering WHY I haven’t! I listened to the audio book and was literally waiting for someone to say “chapter…” but it never came! I was so invested I didn’t even realize the book ended!

First, I wanna say sorry for taking so long writing this review even though I finished this book 2 weeks ago. I received the arc of this book through Patreon as I’m a member of Nikki’s Patreon.
This book was so good. The sexual tension between Roc and Hook is straight fire. The banter was perfect and the chemistry was so good. I loved that we got to learn more about Hook and Roc’s lives. I love that Hook tries to fight the sexual chemistry between him and Roc. I loved that we got to learn more about Wendy and what her life is like now. Also, we learn half of Roc’s first name and that someone knows it. The cliffhanger is crazy and I can’t wait for more. I need to know what exactly Roc is and what his real name is, but we’ll have to wait for book 2. Nikki, another job well done on an amazing book.
