Also eben Fiebertraum.

Great read!

Enjoyed spending more time with Alexander and Clara! Can’t wait to start the next book and see where life takes them!

We still have a lot of drama in this, but I felt like Clara and Alexander's relationship is more solid in this one. They still have things to work through but the love that's there is strong. I think the next book will be more about Clara integrating into the royal family. And I think it's not going to be easy with how nasty they can be. I wanted her to stand up more for herself in the first book and she has definitely done that in this second book. I just hope we continue to see that into the third.

You definitely have to read Book #1 to get into this second book right off the bat. Maybe it's because it felt like everything that was an issue in the first book is still an issue in the second but I definitely felt myself rolling my eyes at the lack of resolution between the two. In more than one instance, I found myself thinking to myself, "exes are exes for a reason...usually the same reason will come up again the second, third and fourth time around".

I hope the last installment of this series will bring everything together and tie the package together neatly. I didn't LOVE the direction this book headed--not that it wasn't stupid sexy without disappointment (yeah, if it's possible, I found Alexander even hotter in this book than the first!) but part of me wanted a bit more from this book.

Ok, so I'm done with this series.... due to the similarities of that other book *wink-wink*, I can pretty much "GUESS" what happens in the 3rd installment. It's taken me this long to finish this book because it's soooo predictable and at times, corny. The best parts are the dramatic interactions with outsiders that want to tear them apart. Unfortunately, each dramatic entry is surrounded by unbelievable sex scenes that are on like 5 or 6 pages. I started skimming because, REALLY, no one does it this much. There is a such thing as chafing.

Anyhoooo.... I give this 2 of 3 book series 2 stars overall. Repetition is not your friend Geneva Lee.

This is my favorite out of the three stories of Clara & Alexander. This book has so much character development and growth. Sure, there are a lot of steamy scenes, but Alexander and Clara have a relationship, not just sex. There's a plot line outside of just sex. There are things happening in each character's life that affects their relationships.

Though I will admit, the sex is absolutely spectacular. Incredibly hot scenes there and well-written without being too cliché. There are a few authors that I like their plot lines but their sex scenes are so full of cliches they drive me nuts. Not true with Geneva Lee’s books. The woman knows how to write a hot, steamy sex scene without using all those over done cliches.

The King is making no qualms about letting his opinion of their relationship be known. As far as he's concerned, Clara's just a tart that Alexander is screwing. The Royal Brat Pack (as Clara calls them) are being as mean as ever. And to top it off, all is not well in Clara's parents' marriage.

All of this, plus Clara's job and the threat of her ex-boyfriend is looming large between them, but through all of it, Alexander and Clara seem to grow stronger together instead of being torn apart. Alexander's never thought of himself as being capable of loving anyone, but after a traumatic event, he learns that he just can't fight it anymore and finally admits to himself and to Clara that he loves her.

Love!! Need more!

Most amazing, thought felt and beautiful proposal EVER!! The attention to detail that Alexander puts into all aspects of his love for Clara makes me all warm inside.

Even Edward and David made me cheer out loud for them finally getting their happily right now!
