Brain candy! Terrible role models for a teenage girl but it's wonderfully vapid for a lazy afternoon.

Perfect summer read, with great characters handling pretty realistic and dynamic struggles. Cannot wait to read the rest of the series!

This was a very okay book, but it's a fast read and it's good for summer. The characters are likable enough, although I wasn't super attached to any of them, except maybe Birdie. The peach orchard setting is really nice and probably one of the best parts of the whole thing. The character development is also pretty good, especially since most of the characters were really unlikable at the beginning, particularly Murphy. It's a really fast read and pretty interesting, probably worth the read.

I got this as a Free Friday book for my nook because it sounded like it might be cute and it really was. Three completely different girls end up working at a peach orchard for three completely different reasons and find lasting friendships despite their differences. They also manage to see and bring out the best in each other. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Murphy, Leeda, Birdie and of course Rex and Enrico!!

At the beginning the book was a little boring, but I still enjoyed it. I love how we can see the growth of the main characters throughout the book, I do think this book shows in a very real way, the power of friendships. Really beautiful.

Oh my goodness, this series is becoming one of my favorite series ever! It's right up there next to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It's just amazing. Anderson writes her characters so realistically and her character development was so flawless! And all the little friendship and romantic parts just made me so happy! It was amazing. I read the last book first unfortunately, but actually I didn't mind reading it out of order because it's so good each book can stand alone. Definitely a five star rating.

Hello lovely readers and happy Friday! If you’re looking for a good book to read this weekend, I would recommend “Peaches” by Jodi Lynn Anderson is the perfect summer read. The book follows the summer of Leeda, Murphy, and Birdie, three girls who aren’t friends but all find themselves working on a peach farm together. The journey to their eventual friendship is touching and not always easy, but their summer experiences of eating fresh peaches and skinny dipping in the farm’s lake will have you dreaming of warm summer days. I’d recommend having some peaches on hand while reading this book because it’ll make you want to sink your teeth into one. I think we need to read more books with female friendship at the center of the book, and this is a lovely one.
