Hear me out. I am very aware of the problematic things about this series. And there's a lot of them. But it's a guilty pleasure and I won't apologize for it.
That being said, even though I liked West and Carolina's story, the book just felt a bit... Flat? I couldn't say this book had any climax and very little tension, mainly in the ending of the first part. I enjoyed it for the love story, I just wish it had done more.

I LOVED this book. This was the first book I have read out of the series I will definitely be going back and reading the rest of the books.
I low key loved how much of an asshole West was and when he was falling for her he had a soft spot for her. He was obsessed with her and I LOVED that.
