This was a delight to read on a cold Christmas evening. It has everything you could want from a festive period book: mystery, a snowstorm, an eclectic cast of characters, murder and ghostly goings on. It got a little confusing at times reconciling the historic mystery of the house with the immediate issues facing the stranded group of strangers, but the conclusion is really satisfying and the atmosphere throughout is brilliant. Really enjoyable.
