In true CH you start reading her books and you are immediately hooked.
She sucks you and doesn’t let you go until you are done.
Which is always a win. I liked that this book had a soundtrack which was a cool twist. However pausing reading to listen to the songs in order was somewhat distracting. I didn’t like that Sydney couldn’t get a job in two months. I also didn’t like that they never practiced outside the bedroom. Couldn’t they have gone to a park or something? This tempting right? Also, Sydney cried way to much. It was annoying. Then if Ridge loves Maggie so much why was it so quick for him to get over her? Weird.
Also Tori never apologized...what a crappy friend.
The ending reminded of the ending in slammed. A big showcasing way of processing love. Not a huge fan of those endings.
Lastly I am curious as to a Deaf persons reaction to this and weather or not CH described their world actually. I honestly have to clue.

I enjoyed that he was deaf, I didn’t enjoy the lack of feeling and interaction with most of their dialogue because of it. Read the book in one day because half of it is just text. But despite that, it was an enjoyable, sappy romance book that I would recommend to anyone who wants to cozy up with a cup of tea or hot chocolate and have all the sappy feelings of lost love.

Has a good love story, I honestly feel like it could have ended here. Reading the 2nd one now we'll see how I feel after that.

Another book from Mrs Hoover done and dusted. This book still had the classic Hoover spark and themes that I love but this one didn’t hit me like the others have. Which Is okay! Still a lovely read with a great storyline and progression.
