Ok but wtf was this shit show. Don't get me wrong, some good smut (here and there) but dayum...

I ain't no prude, and was certainly expecting some hardcore spice and dark romancey vibes but... I wanted some actual romance??? The way love is portrayed is slightly concerning, and it takes away from the sexual tension. Any remotely emotional scene is then combated with this need to have sexual gratification. Yes, lust can be a big component in a new relationship but this dude was so douchey it hurt. The weird plot was a breath of fresh air and that's saying something.

TLDR: amazing spice, eh plot, shit love interest that will make you gag.

This serial is HOT!! Vaughn is anything but a good guy, but I still have high hopes that he will be a nice guy for her!!

"The Bargain," the sequel to "The Seduction" by Roxy Sloane, takes the steaminess to new heights. Sloane has once again displayed her ability to craft spicy scenes with just the right amount of detail and length, keeping readers captivated from start to finish.

But this book goes beyond just the steamy encounters. It delves into the intriguing story behind the inheritance, the malicious scheming against Keely, and Vaughn's mysterious past. Readers will be on the edge of their seats, eagerly turning pages to find out if Keely and Vaughn will ultimately achieve their happily ever after.

One aspect that impresses me about Sloane's writing is how seamlessly "The Bargain" picks up from where its predecessor left off. The continuity in the storyline keeps readers engaged and invested in the characters' lives. And when the final page is turned, everything is wrapped up nicely, providing a satisfying conclusion to the series.

Overall, if you are seeking a sizzling romance with a dash of suspense and a satisfying resolution, "The Bargain" is a must-read. Roxy Sloane's masterful writing will leave you yearning for more of her intoxicating storytelling.

This is definitely better than the second one as it feels there is more plot in this one. The spice was great and I really enjoyed it!
