Loved this! Being a person who's curious about lots of different topics/disciplines, but who also has limited reading time (and limited patience for dense, doorstop-like tomes that I end up reading at the pace of 12 pages per hour), I got really intrigued when I saw this graphic novel adaptation of the bestseller "Sapiens."
Boy, am I glad I got past my initial sheepishness - as if getting the graphic novel version was an admission of intellectual failure or wimpiness. But get over that, because the lessons here are not only perspective-changing and mindblowing, but important in this time of great change. Talk about perspective. I've never taken an anthropology class, but after reading this, I'm hoping I can one day. Fascinating, accessible dive into the history of humankind.

Absolutely WONDERFUL Novel, and I don’t say this lightly. I’m the kind of person to be quite harsh with my book reviews and nit picky so for me to say I couldn’t find a single qualm with this book was outstanding!
Firstly the art, gorgeous!! It is coloured beautifully and brings vibrance to a sometimes dreary topic. I think the wonderful visuals are quite useful in explaining some of the hard to understand topics. This novel really hammers home some of the reasons why I love well written graphic novels. They can be used to explain extremely hard concepts such as anthropology in a simple manner with pictures and diagrams.
I was expecting this novel to be just like Sapiens (the novel from which this is based), but it is completely different with enthralling characters such as Professor Saraswati and Dr Fiction. Each of these characters fit seamlessly into the story, each adding their own unique tibit of information.
I cannot recommend a book more. Even if you don’t like graphic novels, trust me, this is a great one.
