Funny and simple, but the ending seems a little bit prolonged than it should be. The story drags on more than it should.

It was really fun and easy to read. Lorelei's character is funny and endearing, I'd recommend this book over the Great Gatsby any day.

I’m so glad I finally read this, as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is my favourite movie.

However, the book is very different from the movie and not what I expected. It took me a while to get used to the writing style being in diary format from Lorelei’s perspective but I ended up really enjoying it. I thought Anita was very clever with writing how Lorelei’s character is meant to be  portrayed.

The first half of the book more enjoyable to read than “But Gentlemen Marry Brunettes”. Overall, It was funny and lighthearted.

The illustrations throughout the book were gorgeous.
