A man who shows his affection without needing to be asked or acknowledged, is a man after my heart. I absolutely loved Jaxon! The way he slowly fell more in love with Lennon as the book progressed, and the way he took such good care of her. He literally showed her how she deserves to be treated and loved, when he didnโt even believe in love for himself. He is chefs kiss. I knew I was gonna love him as soon as he started giving Ryan Shay loving Indie vibes!
Lennonnnnn, my queen! I am so happy you left that fucking dude, he is the literal worst (and his grandma too). You coming in and owning a space in Jaxonโs home and life, literally changed him. You were the best thing that happened to him and I love you for showing him the love he deserves too.

I love Lennon and Jaxon together. They're cheeky and fun but also very thoughtful with each other.
I think deep down Jaxon was waiting for someone like Lennon so he could poor all of himself into, but he didn't know he needed it. I think Lennon was patient enough to allow him to realize it and play it out.
This was definitely my favourite book in the series. The found family thoughout the series has been beautiful to read about but also seeing Jaxon really come into himself was so lovely.
I was not expecting to get emotional in the end because of him finding his family, but I was so happy for him that he had people who showed up and cared for him even when he thought they had left him behind.

I will still read the 5th book in the series when it comes out, itโs apparently about Cara and her journey on infertility. We shall seeโฆ Garret and Jennie are still my favorite couple.

I've realized this book and the series is just not meant for me. I continued to have a hard time with the overwriting, the cheesiness and the same characters popping in saying the same inane thing that they have in every single book. The MCs stories started off interesting but by the end, I just wanted it to be over. I realized, it's just not for me.
