I really wanted to love it but, here’s the thing…. I haaaaate sex scenes in fantasy books. And I hate really cringey ones even more - I’m not a prude, I just can’t with herteronormity I can live with all the tropes, i can live with bad dialogue and even with it feeling like a second or third draft.

It feels like there’s a really good story just waiting there, but it’s not quite polished.
