2.5 stars - I was genuinely confused most of the book by what they are trying to do... the original series made sense but I almost feel like the author is trying to hard to make the storyline continue. I like the idea of them going back in time to opening day of Disneyland but everything else is just like ehh

I didn’t love this book as much as I did for the one in this sequel series. The storyline with Amanda and Jess is fantastic ; it’s a true mystery with clear clues and goals. Amazing! The whole storyline with the Kingdom keepers is all over the place. Their whole goal of finding Walt’s pen just falls short in short of interest for me. The author could really capitalize on Walt being alive, but the meetings with Walt are also falling short for me. Disappointed.

I feel like they are just reusing the plot. It just needed to end after the first series. Too repetitive.

I'm actually really upset that I finished this book. I didn't want it to end because I enjoyed it so much.

Every book has its faults, some less than others, some more than others. But wow, I really liked this book. It's something that hasn't happened before in these books and it was exciting.

One thing I enjoy about these books it that it all seems to be perfectly balanced. There's a good amount of action, a good amount of filler, and a limited amount of romance. I feel if someone else wrote these books, it would be just one convoluted love triangle, but Ridley Pearson knows how to incorporate just the right amount of romance.

Even though I liked the amount of romance, I'm still waiting for Wilby to happen *wink, wink* :)

I can't believe I only have one book left on the series, the Kingdom Keepers have been in my life for so many years. The first book was one of the first English books I read. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

The second book is just as good as the first. [a:Ridley Pearson|6244|Ridley Pearson|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1263049167p2/6244.jpg]

honestly, this sequel was way better than the first one of the new KK series.

it dealt a lot with my favorite characters amanda and jess and their pasts. I loved how pearson decided to tie everything together. and we actually got some answers??? what a concept. I’m actually looking forward to reading the next one now!

4/5 stars :’)

This felt like a true Kingdom Keepers book. It had a much faster pace and more action, and all the good that comes out of the Keepers working together to solve a puzzle.

I love that young Wayne felt like a much bigger part of the story, as well as learning what’s going on with Amanda and Jess. I love the Nick, Emily, and Tim characters and love that they’ve become this sort of ragtag team outside of the parks. Plus, Emily's invisibility suit sounds so cool.

I’m feeling a little more excited about the last book now!
