I enjoyed this lovely quiet little book. Reminds me that there are other Anne Tyler books I haven’t read yet.

A quiet yet moving book filled with characters you could know in real life, and would want to.

That left me feeling sadder than I expected. Not sure if that was the intent.

An easy, quick read that covers a few days in one man’s life where he starts to question his bachelorhood and life choices.

Spoilers: My favorite parts were the interactions with the teenager and the family dinner at his sister’s house. I wish more time had been devoted to the relationships with his family. I didn’t really like his girlfriend. In the end, I wondered if he truly missed HER, or if he missed the presence of someone else in his life.
