Really dark. Really twisted. Predictable parts, but surprising parts too. Definitely gives your brain a workout.

Lisa Jewell books always leave me a little hungover and this was no exception. So much to pick through. I’m not sure what I think or feel about most of the characters.

There was so much darkness and evil in this book that I will need a good palate cleanser, for sure.
