Whelp...Tiff and her mates story was different, in the fact she is recovering from her journey to NH...BUT I ummmmm, is there an actual story here, or is this just straight up book porn at this point? I keep waiting for developments like...a resonance for two women, just something..and the ending was so darn predictable! Can someone tell me...Does it continue along the same formula the entire series?

I'm a sucker for this type of book, the sex with blue aliens with horns. I adore it, I eat it up every single time. This oooooone was a bit of a miss for me, sadly. I still think it had the aspects that work (the sex, the struggle to adapt, the soulmates trope, and the community), but the main character just didn't do it for me.

Tifanny is just too much of a coward. She has good reasons to feel that way, but I think she's just a little bit too much of a pushover sometimes. She keeps things too close to her chest and doesn't dissuade people from their assumptions, NEVER. Even in the epilogue, in their honeymoon, she still had this issue: she just can't communicate. And seeing the last 50 pages being the same internal conflict was lame.

I just don't think the book was that well developed, and I hated the whole "let's have a competition to go on a date with Tiffany" absolutely horrid. I liked the idea of the book, but the execution of the book was a miss. Still, I think the writing was enjoyable, I liked to see characters from other books and the sex was entertaining enough to make it worthwhile.

... but I can't believe my favorite parts of the book were the set-up for the next one: Jossie, here I come!
