Great storytelling, has the effect of making you feel empathy for deeply flawed characters.

rip heathcliff you would’ve loved “petty too” w future.

no but this is honestly one of the most melodramatic books i’ve ever read, at times like reading a soap opera written in old language, i underlined many things tho so clearly much of it i found moving in some way

Definitely an all-time favorite. Completely unforgettable. This book has stayed with me ever since I read it, and I think it will continue to do so for the rest of my life. I love the Brontë sisters and all their novels. I've known this book for a long time, and I still think about it to this day.

This tale of all-consuming love can give you an idea about what a healthy love truly is, how you can tell if it's healthy or not, and what you can learn from the characters and the things that they embody.

"He's more myself than I am.
Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.
If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger."

Incredibly, I like this book, a lot. It's amazing how classic writers can describe revenge and love. They can show us how love can destroy us or save us without been cheesy, overdramatic or boring. No one can write about romance as classic writers. However, I didn't expected a happy ending. I love it
