This book was incredibly readable. Helen is a great character and Jake is adorable. I'll admit, having watched the movie first, I did tend to superimpose the characters from the film into the story as I read. 

This was better than the movie in many ways. Helen was more likeable and her motivation made more sense. 

A lot of fun and just enough sadness to make it really, really sweet.

this was a good romance book but its definitely more than that. its funny (genuinely makes me giggle) and its beautiful and its inspiring. 

and no spice!

I always enjoy this author and this book was no exception. It’s been awhile since I’ve had to force myself to put down the book and go to bed, but this book was one of those. I may be tired today for it, but it was worth it.
