Really a sweet read. I love Emily Henry's writing style. Although I liked the characters a lot, I didn't enjoy the plot of this one as much as her other books I've read. Perfect if you're looking for something quick with humor and depth.

this was actually pretty good. sí que no le tenía fe a este libro la verdad, pensé que iba a ser como cualquier otra rom com, super entretenida pero súper superficial también. y no. 

me pareció muy profundo todo; January, su manera de ver la vida, su relación con Gus, las investigaciones de sectas. 

Además, no sé si es por ser hija única, pero la relación de January con sus papás, el amor que sentía por ellos, el querer estar con ellos siempre, el ser ellos tres contra el mundo siempre me pegó tan fuerte. Así amo yo a mis papás. Un privilegio y un medio terrible de que algún día se acabe. 

Creo que el romance fue la parte menos interesante de este libro jajaja pero igual it was pretty nice.

Honestly I am not a big romance girly BUT… there were good parts in this book in which I enjoyed. The couple themselves I enjoyed, that enemy to love trope 🤏 one thing though, the book is slowly paced. And i don’t care what ANYONE saids even with the whole damn backstory of Januarys dad, that man is evil. His actions for his cheating is sooooo stupid and disgusting. That the BIGGEST flaw in my opinion about the book. How his actions were lowkey condemn

This book had me laughing out loud! I can see why this one tops a lot of people’s best of EH lists. Also, the audiobook is perfect. Julia Whelan is officially the GOAT. 

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go read everything Emily Henry has ever written.

Cute! Very cheesy and a bit predictable, but a rom com has to be ! The main characters are a little cringy to read (both a bit too angsty for my preference I think? And neither of them are particularly funny) also I wish Shadi were more part of the story bc she felt a little like she was there just to give January someone else to talk to outside of the lake town :-( also so deranged of Gus to say

he trusts January more than he trusts Pete and he's only known her for real for like 2 months
