His True Queen was an epic conclusion that saw some amazing plot twists happen! I loved this book and could not put it down.

You can truly feel the struggle that Adeline has with her new role in life. She knows that she must protect her family but the controversy that is occurring but doesn't want to give up her relationship with Josh.

I loved that Josh never gave up on his feelings for Adeline. What seems like a truly impossible position made him push even harder to see her.

This was an intense romance from start to finish but I still found myself laughing out loud at some of the things that happen between them and Adeline's family.

As always Jodie Ellen Malpas has delivered another amazing and unforgettable romance!

I wasn't keen on the heroine at the beginning of book 1 but by this book I was on her side wondering how she was going to work out how to be with Josh.
The story is well written and draws you in.
There are so many twists and turns and deceptions which really works as a background for the Royal family.
HEA.
No cheating though there are accusations.

Oh man this was good. I loved all the politics in this. I still wish our romantic interest was just slightly different. The more I read the more I liked him, but... I don’t think I’d ever totally get on board with how he was characterized. I think he could have been introduced/written in a way to keep that domineering energy but in a more realistic(?) way. That was the only thing in the way of giving this book the full five stars.

OMG, this conclusion was AMAZING!!! To avoid spoilers let’s just say that this picks up where The Controversial Princess ends with the aftermath of secrets. Princess Adelaide is still that ever strong independent, sassy, rebellious personality that her country loves that I ended up loving. Josh is all alpha male all the time which I LOVED!!! So many more twists and turns, some that I could see coming but others that had my jaw hitting the floor as well. I really, really, LOVED this duology and I LOVED the audiobook narrator.

This specific video review will be included in the September 2018 wrap-up.

I’m all about character development. To be developed, I feel like I should be able to “see”/know the character. While I feel like the “h” is my BFF, I don’t have the same feeling of H. He was very underdeveloped. Needed more his POV... his thoughts and this would have been nicely tied up.

You do need to read the first book in this series as (I think) it ends in a cliffhanger. Well I’m one of the few who did not read book one!
It was hard to understand the connection between Adeline and Josh.
There were a few secrets that came out, a bit of a cat and mouse game with the characters and so many things that would not be possible in the “real world”.

It was also hard for me to understand this story in a British monarchy setting as I have watched lots of documentaries and read books of the current royals and the old (Henry VIII and Victoria).
If you’ve read book one and want a conclusion, then go for it!

I received this ebook from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.

The conclusion to The Controversial Princess, this book had some interesting twists and turns. I really enjoyed this duology more than I thought I would and would definitely read more by this author.
