What can I say about Adeline and Josh? I've never read a book by JEM...I know everyone gasped just now but I haven't and I didn't know what to expect going into it and it definitely wasn't this. This was like what FSOG should HAVE been and wasn't for me. I mean, I'm probably one of the only people who haven't read the series and DNF'd at 15% because it was unbearable and unbelievable. I'm just picky that way. Now had this been made into a movie, I might have watched it.

Josh is an American movie star and it's frowned upon that he be convorting with the Princess...but it doesn't matter because the heart wants what the heart wants. Adeline, on the other hand, is a complex character to me because she doesn't know what she wants. She's confused all the time. Even the ending was out of left field. I will warn you that this book ends on a cliffhanger and it sucked! Not the book but the cliffhanger - I really hate them! But I also loved them so good because you have to wait for the second part. This book did have a lot more sex than I'm used to and I did skip over some parts I thought were unnecessary. This isn't a book for anyone under the age of 18 and the language is crass and crude. I wouldn't let my daughter read it if I had a daughter. That still doesn't mean that I didn't buy this book to have signed by the author at a signing from our local book store!!

Wow, this conclusion did not disappoint! It was filled with passion, betrayal, lots of lies and so much more. If you are wondering wether to take the plunge just do it, read book 1 first of course but absolutely read this!! #HisTrueQueen #NetGalley

SWOONING!!!! Jodi Ellen Malpas rocked the damn boat again and set the bar do high! I am in love with this woman people and her books. They affect me so deeply and her characters are unforgettable even when they are royals.

“Love doesn’t change because the world does”

Adeline was so damn brave. She inspired me, a lot. I loved this woman. She passed a lot of inner turmoil in this book. She was always at war with herself, and I admit that this frustrated me a little bit. I loved that she could not resist Josh nor her heart any longer and she stood for this damn family at the end. I wanted to kill them all, but Eddie. I loved this guy. He deserves his own book.

“I’m prepared to take what I can get, because you have become a vital part of me. And trying to make it through a day knowing I will never set my eyes on you again will be the end of me”

Josh is your typical sexy American boy. I could not connect with Josh as much as Adeline. There was not that much interaction aside from the sex until the end of the second book. So, the love was a little bit lacking somehow but I loved their spirit and chemistry together.

“We are fire and passion and assertive and violent. But we are also love, with its many facets and complexities.”

Josh was not backing down no matter what. Adeline was his true queen.

Valoré que no trataran de alargarlo y hacerlo una trilogía (que es como lo típico), aunque al final sólo quería saber cuál era el twist final y me salté algunas escenas para saberlo. Ups?
