I can't believe this is the same author of thorns duoelogy. I'm almost convinced she has dissociative personality disorder, one is a good story teller and the other has a porn addiction.
Anyways entertaining story , there's a plot, characters aren't insufferable and all in all good story

How did she pretended to be a man in the army? I don't even know and I forgot about this in purpose. That's so unrealistic.
Anyway, not much happened but it's readable I guess

Book 1 in the Monsters trilogy and has to be read in order.

Follows Kirill and Sasha from the Maria universe. They’re both introduced in the Throne duet.

This one features all the go to mafia tropes with a hint of secret identity and forbidden/taboo.

Lots of action but not much spice till about 60%. Definitely a slow burn. 🔥  but the tension was so good. And when Kir speaks, I am sat.
