This book is amazing. I can't say it's one of the best works I've ever read. It is pretty much Candide set in the Israel/Palestine conflict. I highly recommend this book for anyone curious about that part of the world, or just looking for a truely wonderful book that doesn't get talked about too much.

Maybe it's the cultural difference, but I just didn't understand this book at all.
