This was a really fun twist on Sleeping Beauty from the cursing fairy's point of view.

Thought I was craving a fantasy and was not so this book was a bit of a slog to get through. Overall fine story and characters.

Overall, Malice was okay. The world-building was nice and so was the magic systems.
My only problems were the romance and Alyce's character.
Firstly, the romance between Alyce and Aurora was basically insta-love there was barely any tension (maybe one mention of it?) also I could've sworn this was YA so the smut scene caught me a lil off gaurd.
Alyce's character seemed very immature as well. I know this is YA (I think???) so the characters are gonna be a lil more immature but the way she got mad at Aurora for things she didn't even do/things Alyce imagined was crazy like girl just talk it out you're 20 you should be able to do that. Also the way her character just did a complete 180 at the end was so confusing?? if it's explained in the next book I'll delete this tho

I didn't dislike it but I'm just not into it so far. I can't emphasize enough, it's not a bad book. But I'm not connecting. Maybe I'll come back to it one day but it doesn't need to stay on my TBR for now.
