Took a while to get into and 2/3 of the book was buildup so I was getting kinda bored, but then shit hit the fan and ofc I ate up wlw romance. It was refreshing to read from the villains pov and I didn’t think I was gonna read the sequel bc this didn’t end in a way that left me wanting more. BUT, I just read an excerpt from book 2 and now I’m intrigued so we’ll see….

I did not enjoy the overuse of the phrase "Dragon's teeth" that was getting annoying and there were some predictable elements but I did enjoy this story for the most part. I will check out the second book.
