Originally written as a children's illustrated story this is a shorter discworld novel. It contains plenty of Pratchett's usual wit, parody and wordplay though overall feels a bit rushed. Still an entertaining addition to the discworld series though not one of my favourites.

Ostatnio uświadomiłam sobie, że nie jestem fanką cyklu o Rincewindzie, na początku fajnie było czytać o losach antybohatera, ale z czasem jego postać zaczęła mnie frustrować. Gdybym miała jednak wybrać swoją ulubioną książkę, z tych które przeczytałam, postawiłabym na Eryka. Mniej tu było poważnego ratowania świata, a więcej zabawy konwencją, która Pratchettowi po prostu dobrze wychodzi.
