This was a great quick read. I'm a fast reader but I read this in less then an hour and enjoyed every bit of it.
I knit and I loved seeing knitting reflected in the pages of this book. All of the references & inside jokes were lovely. The spicy scenes were hot too. I loved seeing the flaws of the characters and how they came together during hard times.

This book was so lovely and just ::sigh:: beautiful. Such wonderfully rich characters.

Ev is a kind of standoffish, I found difficult to bridge the gap to empathize with him. The rest was good.

While I was looking for just a light and enjoyable book, this one was a bit less intriguing than I would’ve hoped! It was full of cliche and was predictable. Though it did sometimes give me the cheesy love moments I was looking for!

I think this is my favorite out of the Portland Heat series, but I am a knitter, so there might be a bias. Really great read.

The overall story is just too boring with no redeeming qualities to make me want to see how it ends. On top of that Evren is blatantly biphobic and except 2 passing remarks about being too quick to judge, Brady doesn't call him on it.  It feels incredibly unrealistic that Brady would start flirting with him and when he says he is actually bisexual and Evren spews prejudice, that Brady would still continue to pursue a platonic and then sexual relationship.  Brady's lack of self-respect astounds me in a bad way.

I think this is the final book in this series. I think? Anyway, it's been great. I love the writer, and this series is one that has cemented her as one of my Automatic One Clicks.

I loved Ev. I loved Brady. This book dealt with real issues; parenting, loss, communication...gah. I'm a jumble of feels right now. But awesome, awesome, awesome book.

This was sweet and short, although a bit of a tear jerker. Great complexity to characters can be tough in a novella but this worked well.
