Hands down, still one of my favorite series. Glad I was able to read them again.

A quick read, reminiscent of Christopher Pike, but updated to present-day. I flew through this well-told story, eager to solve the riddle(s) and understand the meaning(s). Enough creepiness to keep you awake until the end; but, not so much that you can't sleep when it's over.

My first spooky book, and it did get a little spooky back in the day. It really was a lovely series. Nothing too over the top. No love triangles. Just spooky mysteries riddled with witchcraft and friendship.

Overall, these aren't masterpiece books, but they're a really fun read. Plus, they are probably the first more mature books I read when I was younger so there's a bit of familiar comfort in that.
