This book has been on my want to read list since 2014, when I saw it in a bookshop yesterday for a ridiculously cheap price I had to have it. There are some fantastic pictures included but the small amount of text is a little disappointing, the book would benefit from a bit more background information on some of the situations.

A perfect table top art/photo book to have in ones collection, especially if you're as big a fan of Nick Cave and his bands, The Birthday Party, The Bad Seeds, and Grinder Man. As odd as I've found NC looks throughout the past couple decades I've always seen him as photogenic and charismatic. I always come away from his gigs in awe like I've just been in the presence of a great story teller and entertainer.

Bleddyn Butcher was lucky enough to be there in the early days and to have the privilege of following and photographing NC through his entire career up to date. Some of the pics I recognize, others are new to me.

Definitely something I'll proudly display in my home and share with my friends.
