Review coming soon!!

I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Rabbits is an underground alternate reality game where people try to follow trails of clues and find things that aren’t quite as they are supposed to be. Players need to look for signs in the world around them. This isn’t a game the general public is aware of.

K. Our protagonist has been obsessed with the game since they were a child. They make a living off the game, holding gatherings for others who are interested in the game. K. Finds themselves wrapped up in a Rabbits-related mess and so begins our adventure.

This was a fast-paced fun read that was full of puzzles, conspiracy theories, nostalgia and mind-f*cks. At times it reminded me of Ready Player One or even Black Mirror. I recommend this to those who enjoy twisty, nerd-fueled reads.

I have listened to this book on Audibles twice and absolutely loved it! It is fast paced and easy to lose yourself in.

The story is there. And when I actually sat down and focused, I had a pretty good time reading it. It always seems to go into detail on what characters a wearing, which is always something 80's or 90's inspired, and yet it' set in todays time. Personally, it felt like it didn't know exactly what time it wanted to be set in. However, it was really fun. This is actually very, very close to a four star rating and hurt my feelings a little to only rate it a 3 because it was good. I did have a good time. However, it isn't my favorite and I could have been perfectly fine without reading it. I can see very well how it could be on someone's top 10, though. I think most of this is just about me personally with the timing and video game setting. It was fun, it was interesting, and it was wacky. I definitely have a few friends I would recommend it to.

This was so trippy. I love multiverse theories but some of this book went over my head.
If you like the show The OA, this book is for you!

I will only make a few comments, as I am not even sure what I just read. I think in order to truly enjoy this book, you need to be a gamer. That, or the podcast is a necessary prerequisite for the book. I was fairly confused throughout the book, and the author completely lost me at the end. I still am not sure how you play the game.
