I won this book on the goodreads giveaway (Thank you!) I can honestly say I’ve never read a book like this before and once I got used to the Ebonics I quite enjoyed it. The characters were bold, funny and realistic. I love the narrative of being inside the character’s heads; it made them both relatable and more realistic. The story kept me on my toes, never knowing what was coming next, and the ending was a cliff hanger than has me biting my nails and wondering what will happen in the second book!
