Really interesting and fun to read. I love all the different formats that this was written in. I liked the loot as well as the story being told from multiple points of view. I flew through this because it was so captivating. It was also fun to read being close to where it takes place In Wisconsin. Great read!

Dead Eleven by Jimmy Juliano is a solid exploration of grief, guilt, and the path to healing. While it presents an interesting horror story, the novel begins very slowly and does become repetitive towards its conclusion.
🎧: The main narrator (representing Harper) is fine, but the limited cast presentation is strange. I eventually realized why some of the chapters are read by the main narrator and others are not; however, I would have made a different choice.

Graphic: Child death, Grief, Car accident
Moderate: Gaslighting
Minor: Gore, Violence
This book started out strong. I was intrigued. It felt like it was going to be a spooky slow-burn. Then it just became slow. And then it became silly. By the end I was just ready for it to be over and hated every character.

Peak supernatural thriller. Intrigue, suspense, and a mostly satisfying ending. I enjoy the different types of chapters: interviews, recordings, articles, and texts. I think they certainly added a fun element to the book.

Unfortunately, this one didn’t do it for me the way I thought it would. While I like a good slow burn suspense this was just too drawn out for my taste, especially for the amount of pay off in the end. There were parts I enjoyed, but overall it was just okay.
