This is a book that everyone should read. This is a must read if you are a beginner.
This book actually got me out of a reading slump. This was actually a page turner. This is so good. So many twists and turns after each chapter. The plot twists made me insane.
The characters in the book ; there were characters in this book that I hate to the core and also I love to the core.
Especially Max Hashtings. He us a moron. He knew sal didn't murdered Andy, but he kept telling that Sal was the murderer. I hate Sal's friends. No matter whatever their reason was, they betrayed him. Sal was innocent. And Sal was murdered. I felt very sad and I cried. The way that bastard Elliot explained how he killed Sal, my heart was aching for Sal. How could he fo that to Sal. Sal loved and believed Elliott. And for the killer of Andie I was shocked that it was her own sister Becca. But I won't completely hate her, because she had valid reasons. But she had the audacity to call Sal the killer, even she knew it was her. I hate her for that.

And tbe chemistry between Pip and Ravi. OMG!They are so sweet. The way Ravi calling Pip "𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲". Eventhough there wasn't a romantic scene like in every book ; like no butterflies in stomach and confessions and more kisses something like that. But we could feel their love that they have for each other.
And the way Pip's dad Victor calling her, "𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲". I love her family.
Overall, this book was a great book for me. I loved Holly Jackson's style of writing. With production logs, Interview formats and diary entries, Everything make exciting to read this book. I loooovvvveddd it. I think every thriller book needs any of this things like case diaries or production logs or diary entries so that it could be fun to read for the readers.
I am looking forward to the second book. I am so excited. I am looking forward to read more of Holly Jackson's books..
Thank you for this book ❤️.

I personally thoroughly enjoyed this book. Based off of my rating scale it does not reach a 5 just because I feel as though 5’s for me are usually things I can reread and this being a mystery book doesn’t hit that mark for me. However, that does not take away from how good this book actually was.

It keeps you guessing and questioning things at every chapter  and even though I felt myself getting a little bored at the 50% mark due to no real discoveries being made I can proudly say the push to continue this book was truly worth it. The characters are lovable, the plot twists keep you on edge, there’s a bunch of “mouth wide open” moments and honestly, I really really enjoyed it. This was my first mystery book and it was more “light hearted” in the sense that the murder itself isn’t that grand, it’s not gore filled in any sense and it’s really good (imo) to ease into if you’re coming from a different genre (for me that being fantasy & romance). It opened up a new side of the book world and I’ll definitely look into the rest of the books in this trilogy.

I liked the way everything rounded out to make sense in the end, I felt as though nothing was missing, nothing left unanswered and it was a really satisfying end to a “keeping you on edge” book.

Like I previously mentioned there was a point where I wasn’t sure how I was feeling because the mystery itself didn’t seem to be going anywhere but trust when things start moving and being pieced together they really do start moving! I’d strongly recommend this book to anyone looking into wanting to stray mystery and any fans of criminal minds looking to solve a mystery because it really is one that you can follow and possibly find out on your own if you’re REALLY attentive. Either way the reveals of everything really do come together in a satisfying and fulfilling way. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this book enough, happy reading!
