Way too long and detailed for my tastes in layperson-accessible scientific topics, but highly entertaining and dives into issues of space settlement I never really considered all that deeply before. I chuckled frequently at the examples and takes provided, and still learned fun facts. 

My copy of the book was about 30% sources and notes, so the page count is a little misleading.
