This is such a good series! Perfectly done with great characters I care about in a setting where the murders and disturbances make sense [as much as that can make sense] since the setting is San Francisco and surrounding area. And it's paranormal with the main character, Mel Turner, coming to grips and learning more each day about her ability to sense ghosts and help them. And solve murders. And renovate houses.
This one had quite a few characters to keep track of, a new beau on the horizon for Mel, an intriguing house to renovate over a bad renovation due to unhappy spirits causing a ruckus.
Love love love this series!
I can definitely highly recommend this book, this series and this author

Love this series. It is so fun seeing the family and friends get involved with the ghosts. This one didn't have as much renovation happening but it was still fun learning about the old houses and history.

 I just enjoy the books in this series. I like the grown-up main character, despite the fact that romantic troubles might be brewing in this one. I like that she is close to her father and her stepson, and that she has a job as a historical house restorer that is both practical (construction skills) and creative (yay researching historical fixtures). I think that Juliet Blackwell does the spooky touch well to make this a fun ghost-featuring cozy series.
