Kinda cringe but I like her writing style. It’s also not dirty which I personally appreciate

I am giving this book 3.5 stars. I am a sucker for romcoms, as well as the brother’s best friend trope. As well, I am a hgtv fanatic & if only I could find someone like Conor Brady to flip houses with… so basically Jess is living my dream. This is your quintessential romantic comedy, and even though I would prefer a little more *spice*, I really enjoyed this book!

A fun, fast-paced romance, Katie Bailey does it again (or I guess did it for the first time but I’ve been reading her books backwards…). Jess really resonated with me in so many ways, and Conor… well, I just wish I knew that there were men like him who actually exist. Maybe there are. I hope so. I would have loved to have had a bit more insight into Conor’s background (and Jess & Aiden’s upbringing too actually), but a really fun book overall.

The last part of his speech?
When I look at you I don’t see a mess, I see a masterpiece. I see every single piece of your beautiful heart as a brushstroke on canvas, and the result is a work of art
MY HEART MELTED! And the several Friends metaphors? Loved it!
