read for class

I read this for school, but honestly I always love Descartes. He's such a personality, and he's a fun writer to read. I haven't read all of his stuff, so I'd probably take issue with some of what he writes (as with every philosopher), but so far he's less problematic than Plato, Aristotle, and most of the rest of them.

I think I am going to just give every philosophy text I read this quarter 3 stars. I don't understand a damn thing.

Refreshingly clear. Not the most thorough thinking but his emphasis carry’s the argument

Meh

One of the most influential pieces of modern philosophy. Definitely one to read, however logically off-putting it may be.

I don't agree with him, but this definitely makes you think and is also very well-written.
