Again with that ending??

I knew the secrets Van kept were going to be massive - you can’t keep all these secrets only for it to end up being a lackluster type of revelation and thankfully it didn’t disappoint.

3 (I’ll use this number instead of what actually was revealed) though? Didn’t see that coming.

I like that Julia found a backbone and didn’t back down from her parents and what she is trying to achieve in regards to the company.

Also she’s a much better person for how she handled the Beth situation cause I would of been horrible.

Onto book 3!

I have been patiently waiting for this book to come out. I absolutely love Julia and Van's story. They have both found love with each other and honestly, it's just so good between these two. Julia is starting to find herself again and has a voice. Van is protective of her. They are now in Chicago so they can conduct some business. But in true form, nothing is as simple as it should be.

I was reading this book on the edge of my seat. There were some twists and turns that I didn't see coming. A couple that I started to think I might see and then wasn't surprised when I did. But what I didn't see coming was the ending!!!! I'm still in shock. I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to wait for Gold Lust!

I also love the references to Lennox Demitri from the Infidelity series. No worries, if you haven't read it you aren't missing anything in this series. But every time I read his name, it makes me want to pick that series back up again because that was another amazing series.

Have you been Aleatha'd? Because if you haven't, you are most definitely missing out!!!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

What a delicious continuation of the Sin Series. Aleathea continues to wow with her romantic suspense prowess. Green Envy has all the things I love about Aleatha Romig’s sensual and thrilling storytelling. A sexy, possessive, hyper alpha billionaire with a magnetic allure, broody and megalomaniac vibes, and loads of secrets. And, a sweet, somewhat naive and powerless heroine Julia who finds herself in the hero's web but who slowly starts to find her voice and power while under the steely control of our mercurial hero. And now we get to see more and more facets, as our serendipitously connected lovers explore their passion and bound outside their love nest.

Julie and Van’s story continues with loads of passionate chemistry, more emotional tension, and a bevy of secrets and hidden agendas. And of course, oodles of twists. We get to admire Julia as she comes into her own more in this story- more power, more resolve. And I love seeing the various facets of Van as we peel back his layers. Their chemistry is addictive, and Aleatha always marries the sensual and suspenseful with such ease.

Prepare yourself for a cliffhanger that will leave you with loads of questions and thirsty for the finale! We’ve been Aleatha’ed yet again!

I am not surprised Aleatha Romig managed to even surpass Red Sin with the second installment Green Envy and what a twisted web she weaved. Van and Julia continue to be the it couple with their all encompassing love and lust for each other. Van’s support and stoic standing behind his true love in her fight against her adversaries in Wade pharmaceuticals is admirable and their chemistry and their intimacy behind the scenes are drool-worthy. Of course, anything worth value will have to be fought for, hence a certain someone from the past make a surprise entrance to shake the foundations of their relationship. The cliffhanger is brutal but as I said, if it’s worthy, we have to endure.

I have a real love/dislike thing going for Aleatha Romig right now; I love her stories; I love the characters and the way she builds suspense as she reveals their story layer by layer. I love the intensity of the romance between the main characters, their journey of discovery, and the built trust. I'm not too fond of the darn cliffhangers and the wait I have until the next book arrives. But that is the price we pay to get the delectable stories from Aleatha like Green Envy, the second book in Donavan, and Julia's story. Julia and Donavan are so in love, and Donavan's encouragement of faith in Julia helps her bloom and take her place in her family's company. Along the way, we begin to have the tidbits of Donavan's history revealed, but we really don't grasp the magnitude until the end---and what an end. Oh yeah, Green Envy will leave you Aleatha'd.

What! That ending!
We pick up right where the last book ended, and I was sucked right back into this world. And before I knew it the book was done.

Julia and Van are moving their relationship along but Van is still not sharing his secrets. Julia doesn't want to push because he's asked her to trust him.

They head to Chicago in order to sort out what is happening at Wade, her family's pharmaceutical company. With the guidance and confidence Van has infused into her, Julia is able to meet with the board and make a few requests that are granted.

With also get a few flashbacks into Van's life before Julia. We get a few glimpses into his feud with the Butlers but still not the full explanation. And a few clues into his relationship with his siblings. Right before we get another shocking reveal.

Can't wait to get the conclusion into my hands!

Van and Julia’s story continues with Green Envy and it is a continuation I have been anxiously awaiting! Their passion together is undeniable and I love what they do for each other as individuals, as well as a couple. Van isn’t perfect by any means. He has his demons and his sins, probably a multitude of them according to him, but man- he loves Julia fiercely. She knows he makes her better and loves him despite his past and his mistakes. This story is so good. I can’t go into details without spoiling anything and I like this story too much to do that, but I’ll just say this. It’s a story of love, of passion, of redemption, of family drama, of overcoming, of envy, of intrigue and of power. This is another incredible example of Aleatha Romig’s outstanding ability to create a world that you can easily visualize and want to be a part of. Thank you for this story, Aleatha! Now I’m going to need you to hurry and release the next one because… omg!!!

I was given the opportunity to read an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and I am so happy I could!
