Finished this read in a day (I guess technically two since it’s now 1:30am). Was hooked from the first chapter but definitely felt like the story was dragging around chapters 10-the end. Wish the ending was more dramatic. Felt like the last few chapters had this big build up for something to happen and we’re left with our main character in the middle of the “something to happen”. Would have loved to see how her decisions in the last chapter played out for her.

This is a beautifully executed book but no part of me enjoyed reading it. Excruciating.
This book is like Handmaids Tale meets Never Let Me Go. A hard read and super dystopian. Worth it IMO!
I’m conflicted. I liked the concept and I liked the ending. It was wildly overwritten and in need of some serious editing. The middle section seemed so unnecessary. The pacing dragged and then ended in a rush. 2.5 stars.
